Split air cooler using evaporative cooling of water

Abstract:  Cooling through evaporation is a natural occurrence. Evaporative cooling lowers the temperature of air using the principle of evaporative cooling, converting sensible heat into latent heat. Cost of energy  is  increasing  day  by  day.  It is  the  need  of  the  time  to  develop  the  technology which reduces the energy consumption. Any industry or house or building that is using any type of air conditioning system is associated with the generation of heat or waste affecting the environment. Their  impacts  on  the  ecological  bodies,  living  and  non-living  environment  are  noticeable  and alarming  issue  to  the  environmentalist.  In  this patent,  work  is  done  on  the  system  operating  on the  principle  of  evaporative  cooling  of  water  for  indirect  air  cooling.  Based  on  this  concept, a split air  cooler  is developed,  which  functions  like  an  air  conditioning  system,  at  the  cost  of  air cooler. Other air cooling systems conventionally used are domestic air coolers, mist fans etc., all they provide humid cooled air which create health issues. On the contrary air conditions give dry and cold air but operating cost is high due to high refrigerant, compression and maintenance cost. Valuable  benefits  of  the split  air  cooler  system  are  less  operating  cost  because  of  low  cost  of water, economic design and ease of operation, cooling without addition of humidity. The system can provide the  cooling  effect reducing the temperature of the surrounding air from 40°Cto 27°C in dry climate. The system efficiency will become lower as humidity increases, and becomes ineffective for saturated air in monsoon.

Synthesis of Pd deposited Micro Mesophorous Iron Oxide(MMIO) for Aniline Production

Application No:

Abstract: Aniline  is  widely  used  as  an  intermediate  in  Dye,  Pharmaceutical  and  many  other Industries.  So  we decided  to  do  a  project  on  the  Production  of  Aniline.  For  that  we  studied various Aniline  Synthesis methods  in  detail  such  as  Hydrogenation  of  Nitrobenzene  using catalyst  (such  as  Fe+HCL,  Sn+HCL,  Pt-Pd  etc.).  By  the  detail  study  of  these  processes  we face a problem of disposal of  iron sludge with the use of Fe+HCL as catalyst, and  if we use Pt-Pd as catalyst for the production of Aniline we face a problem of production cost because Pt is highly expensive metal, and if we use Sn+HCL as catalyst we face hygiene problem. We  developed new  catalyst  which  is  the  derivative  of  Fe  because  Fe  is  available  at law cost compare to Pt. So we made a catalyst MMIO which is the alternative of iron oxide, and for increasing its activity Pd nanoparticles are deposited on MMIO catalyst. So finally we produced Pd deposited MMIO for Aniline Production.
